She was inducted into The History Makers and received the Zeta Phi Beta Community Service Award. She’s a member of the Grambling University Hall of Fame. She’s received the prestigious NAACP Presidential Legacy Award.

Recipient of the Iota Phi Lambda Sorority’s Woman of the Year Award, Star Performer Award from the Asian Benevolent Society for work in creating diversity in business in D.C.

Dr. Williams received a Humanitarian Award from the African Hebrew Israelites, Winnie Mandela Endurance with Dignity award, Support A Child Foundation, Inc. and was honored as Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at the Indiana Black Expo.

She received the “I Rise Award” for work on Domestic Violence and the Woman of Courage Award from the National Women’s Political Caucus.

An inductee of Ford Motor Company’s Freedom Sisters, Sisterhood Agenda, Who’s Who in Black DC, and Indigo’s Sisterhood.
She was recognized as one of Ebony Magazine’s “100 Most Influential Black Americans” and “Power 150". She’s been honored by the Women’s History Alliance and the National Policy Alliance.

Consultant and lead appearance - 2022 News and Documentary Emmy nominated, “The One And Only Dick Gregory”.

Dr Williams is a Louisiana native and comes from a family of 9 children. She is a minister at Greater Works Christian Church in Maryland. Recently, she received the United Churches Global Human Rights Award.
